What is QubeDot?
QubeDot is a German deep-tech company developing advanced microLED technologies for next-generation displays and imaging systems. They specialize in highly efficient, miniaturized light sources and CMOS-integrated solutions, offering both components and fully customized systems for research and industrial applications.
The challenge
The original website featured excessive animations and interactive elements, resulting in an overwhelming and unclear user experience. Our objective was to streamline the journey and guide users through the content, ensuring the company’s value proposition is immediately recognized. By refining the branding and smoothing the animation logic, we created a cleaner design supported by a robust information architecture. The result is an intuitive experience that effectively highlights the company’s story and core offerings.
Typography
For this project, we used Satoshi, a clean and modern neo-grotesk sans-serif typeface. It feels precise and structured, while still remaining approachable, which fits well with the brand’s technological focus. Its clear letterforms and high readability work especially well across the interface, helping users easily navigate and understand the content. At the same time, its simplicity keeps the overall look refined and consistent, supporting a smooth and intuitive user experience.
Color palette
The primary color appears vivid and high-energy, evoking light, warmth, and intensity. Their brightness naturally connects to the world of LEDs and illumination, resembling the glow of active light sources and electronic displays. This makes it visually striking and conceptually aligned with the brand’s focus on light-based technology. Used across the interface, it brings energy and clarity, guiding attention while giving the overall experience a bold and dynamic feel.
